The Story of Shivani Sharma, Founder

I always believed a handbag is more than an accessory. It is confidence. It is how a woman carries her world.

For years, I searched for that perfect bag - one that felt luxurious, was truly functional for a working woman, and was consciously made. But everything I loved was either exorbitantly priced or compromised on quality.

So I asked myself one question

Why can't luxury be beautiful, ethical, and accessible?

That question became PURPLEBERRY.

The beginning was not easy. We had no big setup, no shortcuts. We started in a small room, sitting on the floor with our artisans, trying to create that one perfect sample.

We failed. Once, twice, many times. Because I refused to compromise on what I wanted - a bag crafted in Indigo Denim and cruelty-free canvas, finished with vegan leather trim and iconic gold fittings, a bag strong enough for the office and elegant enough for an evening.

But we kept going. We learned, we unlearned, and we tried again.

And then one day, we made it. We looked at it and said, "This is it. This is the bag we were meant to create."

That one bag started a movement. From our signature Office Totes like Heritage and Dima, to everyday Canvas Totes - each design found its way into the lives of thousands of women.

Today, we are called India's Fastest Growing Denim Handbag Brand for Office Women, but for me, this is just the beginning.

Because this success is not mine alone.

I had only dreamt it, but you all built me.

This brand was built by the hands that crafted it with love - our artisan family.

This brand was built by you, who trusted an unknown name and made it your own - our customer family.

And this brand was built by the responsibility you gave me - to create something better for you, every single day.

What started as a small dream in a small room, has become a family of thousands of women who carry PurpleBerry to their offices, their meetings, their lives.
